Trumpet of Patriots has announced Aaron Hayes as its endorsed candidate for the Queensland seat of Griffith in the upcoming Federal Election.
Mr Hayes brings with him a wealth of real-world experience from Queensland’s mining heartland, where he has spent years contracting across multiple sites in the Bowen Basin.
His roles have ranged from leading hand to site representative, working on major equipment and critical breakdowns across a wide range of heavy machinery.
“My job takes me where the work is—from fitting and maintenance to leadership and supervision,” Mr Hayes said.
“Like many others, I’ve seen how rising costs are making it harder for families and workers to get ahead.”
Mr Hayes is standing with Trumpet of Patriots because he believes it is the only party offering common-sense solutions to reduce government debt and tackle the cost-of-living crisis.
“We need policies that serve Australians, not overseas interests. A 15% licence fee on all iron ore exports would generate billions in revenue to help eliminate our national debt. That’s the kind of real change I’m proud to support.”
With a practical background and firsthand knowledge of Australia’s industrial backbone, Mr Hayes is committed to representing workers and families who feel increasingly ignored by the political establishment.
