Trumpet of Patriots has announced Alex Scarfone as the party’s candidate for the New South Wales seat of Hughes in the upcoming Federal Election. 

With over 25 years of experience as a Certified Financial Planner, Alex Scarfone has dedicated his career to guiding hundreds of Australians toward financial security.

His tenure at a major Australian Bank and subsequent 14 years running his own practice have equipped him with the practical expertise to address the economic challenges facing everyday Australians.

The electorate of Hughes, encompassing areas like Sutherland Shire and parts of the Illawarra, faces pressing issues such as housing affordability, mental health and cost-of-living pressures.

Emphasizing the need for effective leadership to tackle these challenges in Hughes head-on, Mr Scarfone says “Australia stands at a crossroads. I am aligned with the Trumpet of Patriots to restore balance and ensure that the voices of Hughes residents are heard and respected.”

“The current government has built the second largest Superannuation fund in the world – nearly $5 trillion – yet allows most of these funds to be invested overseas”.

“Trumpet of Patriots demands that our superannuation funds be more focused in Australia. We desperately need capital funds to provide our own venture capital, infrastructure and industrial investments.

“Our party would mandate that more superannuation capital be redirected and invested locally, to help make Australia great again.” Mr Scarfone said.
