Angelo Cuda, a former cane cutter, truck driver, mechanic and fitter with 40 years’ experience working for one of Australia’s leading agribusiness groups, will stand for the Trumpet of Patriots in the seat of Whitlam.

Mr Cuda brings a strong working-class background to the campaign, with additional experience as a small business owner, company director, and former union representative with the Australian Metal Workers Union.

With lifelong passions in science, astronomy, computer hardware and politics, Mr Cuda says his biggest motivation is family and the future of everyday Australians.

“For too long, Australians have suffered under a political duopoly that has served Labor and Liberal—not the people,” he said.

“The Trumpet of Patriots is giving Australians a real alternative, and a real chance to take our country back.”

Mr Cuda said it’s time to elect people who understand the struggles of working Australians—not career politicians.

“I’ve spent my life doing the hard yards. I know what families are going through, and I’ll stand up for them in Canberra.”
