Assaad Issa embodies the values of hard work and dedication. Born to Lebanese immigrant parents who arrived in Australia when his father was eight, Assaad witnessed firsthand the sacrifices his family made to build a better future. The youngest of four, he has worked hard since his teens and remains deeply involved in his local church. Mr Issa is driven by a commitment to effect positive change for future generations. 

The Calwell electorate, encompassing Melbourne’s outer north-western suburbs is characterized by its multicultural and working-class population. It has one of Victoria’s highest Muslim populations and a significant Catholic community, reflecting its diverse migrant heritage. Residents experience economic disparities and social concerns such as less access to healthcare and less educational facilities compared to established city communities.

“Trump-like policies work. We must focus on strong borders, economic freedom, and ensuring Australians have the opportunities and security they deserve.” Mr Issa said.

“My resolve to Make Australia Great Again comes from understanding what true freedom means,” Mr Issa said.

“It’s time for new leadership with Trumpet of Patriots party, to put Australians first and deliver real results.”
