Brian Thiele, a seasoned geologist and mining industry professional with nearly 40 years of global experience, will stand for the Trumpet of Patriots in the seat of Brisbane at the upcoming Federal Election.
Mr Thiele is currently the Director and part-owner of a syndicate-level mineral exploration company. His career has spanned continents, including over a decade running his own consultancy servicing the African mining sector from Mauritius.
Now back in Australia, Mr Thiele says it’s time for bold economic solutions to relieve Australians from the pressures of soaring debt and living costs.
“We can’t fix the cost-of-living crisis without fixing the Government’s addiction to debt,” he said.
“One smart and fair solution is a 15% licence fee on iron ore exports, with the funds going directly to reduce national debt.”
Mr Thiele says Australians deserve policies that support sovereign wealth and economic independence—not more band-aid fixes from the political class.
“I’ve worked in the real world, where results matter and mismanagement has consequences. It’s time we held Canberra to the same standard.”
