Mr Loke is the epitome of the Australian dream. Arriving in Australia in 1999 with just $500, he has since become a successful business owner, community leader and community advocate, assisting new migrants with employment and housing. Ganesh has been recognized as a finalist in the Young Community Achiever category at the IABC Awards and the Australia Day Awards by Parramatta Council.

The electorate of Parramatta faces significant challenges, with the electorate holding the second-highest number of renters in NSW. The area is grappling with including housing affordability and issues like mental health, cost of living, and income inequality.
