Businessman and community leader John Koukoulis will contest the Sydney seat of Watson for the Trumpet of Patriots in the upcoming federal election, vowing to deliver real-world leadership for families, small businesses and working Australians.
Born at Bankstown Hospital in 1982 to Greek immigrant parents, John has lived most of his life in Bankstown and is deeply invested in the future of his local community.
A devoted husband and father of six, he is the CEO of an educational institution and holds a Graduate Degree in Management.
John previously stood as a candidate in the 2022 federal election, earning recognition for his strong stand against government overreach and his passionate defence of individual freedoms.
“Australians are crying out for leadership that understands real life, not the career politics of the Canberra bubble,” John said.
John believes the people of Watson have been taken for granted by politicians who are more interested in party games than solving the real problems impacting communities like his such as the rising cost of living, housing stress, overloaded infrastructure and a lack of local opportunity.
“The so-called ‘uni-party’ of Labor and the Liberals has failed. They’re two sides of the same coin, and their policies are making life harder for everyday Australians,” he said.
