Trumpet of Patriots has announced Peter Arena as the party’s candidate for the New South Wales seat of Paterson in the upcoming Federal Election.

Peter Arena brings over two decades of experience as a licensed real estate agent and auctioneer, having founded his own agency over 15 years ago. His commitment to family has balanced with his professional career, including as carer for his mother for six years. Beyond his business acumen, Mr Arena has dedicated over 50 years to his faith in Christian ministry roles, as Chapter President and State Leader and positions on the Christian Democrat board.

The Paterson electorate, encompassing areas like Port Stephens, Maitland and Kurri Kurri faces significant challenges. It ranks among the highest in the nation for mortgage stress, with many families struggling due to rising housing costs and stagnant wages. The region’s economy, rooted in industries like agriculture, mining, and defense, has been impacted by environmental policies perceived as anti-mining, leading to job insecurities.

Mr Arena advocates for Trumpet of Patriots policies that prioritise the well-being of Paterson’s residents. Priorities include affordable housing solutions and pushing conservative family values, advocating for policies that strengthen traditional family structures and uphold religious freedoms.​

Mr Arena says, “Australians need leaders who will stand up for what’s right, not career politicians who push radical agendas.”
