Steve Andrew, former State Member for Mirani, will contest the seat of Capricornia for Trumpet of Patriots at the next Federal Election.

With seven years of Queensland parliamentary service and a proud local heritage stretching back four generations, Mr Andrew brings both experience and deep regional insight to the campaign.

“I have a deep connection to this region, which I believe uniquely qualifies me for the role,” Mr Andrew said.

“Not only was I born and raised here, but so were my parents, grandparents, and great-grandparents.”

Mr Andrew said trust in government is at a low point, and it’s time to restore accountability and respect for the people.

“What Australians want most is to be listened to, and for government to be more responsive to the will of the people.”

As a proud representative of Trumpet of Patriots, he will campaign on a platform of limiting government spending, tackling government debt, supporting small and family businesses, and bringing affordable housing back within reach.
