Liberal voters concerned about their party’s shift to left: Palmer

Chairman and spokesperson for Trumpet of Patriots, Clive Palmer, said today he was being inundated with messages from Liberals concerned their party was moving more to the left each day.

“It is clear that Liberal voters are concerned about the move towards woke politics, and following Labor’s position,” Mr Palmer said.

“This is not a surprise as the Liberals and Labor are a uni-party – they follow each other on a number of policies and the trend will only continue.

“Labor and the Liberals have the same views on Medicare; and on freezing beer tax while millions of Australians were going hungry.

“They don’t disagree about nuclear energy, although Peter Dutton thinks the government should pay for it. The Trumpet of Patriots firmly believe nuclear energy should be left to private enterprise and market forces,” Mr Palmer said.

The Trumpet of Patriots is in the process of endorsing candidates across Australia and once elected will change the face of Australian politics.

Mr Palmer confirmed Trumpet of Patriots would adopt many of the policies of US President Donald Trump and drain the swamp in Canberra by cutting costs on waste that doesn’t prioritise helping Australian families.

“Australia needs Trump-like policies which only Trumpet of Patriots can deliver,” Mr Palmer said.
