Trumpet of Patriots Key Policies 2025

The Trumpet of Patriots is focused on democracy, individual freedoms, free speech, reducing government intrusion in our lives, breaking the duopoly, real choice and real liberty.

If you are unhappy with how your life has become more expensive to manage, disturbed by the direction of our nation and troubled by the erosion of our Australian values and identity, then at the election on 3 May you must vote differently. If you don’t, you’ll be locking in our nation’s current course for years to come and Australia will face a bleak future.

Every vote for Labor, the Liberals, Greens or Teals is another nail in Australia’s coffin. Vote 1 Trumpet of Patriots and set a new course for Australia based on our common sense policies that put Australia first.

We need common sense, practical solutions that focus on what really matters to real people. Our policies are driven by need and necessity, not ideology

DOGE (DEPARTMENT OF GOVERNMENT EFFICIENCY)

Federal Government is bloated and wasteful. Unelected, overpaid bureaucrats must not be allowed to push their personal ideologies on the Australian people. We will launch an investigation and drain the swamp! Here are some examples of how your money is being wasted.

· $450,000 spent on government departments hosting welcome to country ceremonies in the last two years.

· $600 million for a PNG rugby team to join the NRL.

· $500 million spent on the divisive voice referendum.

· $174 million spent by Labor on advertising in the last year to tell Australians how well they’re doing – the most money spent for this purpose in the last 20 years.

IMMIGRATION

The primary responsibility of the Australian Government is to look after Australian citizens. In the last three years the Labor government has brought in more than 1 million migrants, we do not have the infrastructure nor the housing to deal with this influx and Australian citizens are suffering in huge numbers.

· Cut immigration to sustainable levels and prioritise the needs of Australian citizens.

· Limit the ability of foreign buyers from buying Australian homes and prime agricultural land.

· Prioritise migration from nations with compatible values.

HOUSING

More and more Australians are living in their cars or on the streets. It’s a national disgrace. We must cut immigration to sustainable levels and introduce measures to help Australian citizens find housing to rent or buy.

· To ease the housing crisis we propose to allow Australians to use 30% of their superannuation for a deposit and cap interest rates at 3%.

· Establishing high-speed rail networks up to 120kms from growing satellite cities to major CBDs would unlock affordable housing for families while slashing commuting times.

COST OF LIVING

The Labor Government is making you poorer and the Liberals will be no better.

· Over three million households in this country are experiencing hardship in feeding their families. This is a disgrace. Trumpet of Patriots will ensure Australians do not go to bed hungry.

· The best way to create wealth is to have an efficient private sector which can produce for all, government does not create wealth it only takes, so we must reduce government waste.

· The government has shut down cheap reliable coal power in favour of expensive renewables, which is driving up power bills for families, as well as increasing the cost to make products and provide services. It is one of the biggest issues crippling the country and we face energy insecurity as a result. We will restore reliable baseload power to all Australian households and businesses.

AUSTRALIAN VALUES

Our values, way of life and Aussie spirit is being eroded.

· One population under one Australian flag – having multiple flags divides the country.

· We believe in a multi-racial country with only one culture – the Australian culture.

· You do not need to be welcomed to your own country. People from multiple nations, cultures and backgrounds have helped to build Australia and have made important contributions.

· Protect freedom of speech. Protect our right to have differing opinions.

NET ZERO

Net Zero means a poorer future for us all. High energy costs and cost of living pressures because of Net Zero measures are causing harm to many Australian families.

· Exit the Paris Agreement, this agreement will not change the weather but it will ensure we economically destroy the nation.

· You cannot run Australia off unreliable wind and solar which does nothing to help the environment or reduce costs, the only thing renewable about these things is the cost as they need to be replaced every 20 years.

· End government subsidisation of energy, adopt an energy source agnostic approach and let the free market decide what is the cheapest and most reliable source of power.

· Repeal the ban on nuclear energy.

· Powerful nations have cheap power.

· Even if we reached Net Zero tomorrow, the net effect on the Australia climate will also be zero.

FREEDOM OF SPEECH & CHOICE

Freedom of speech and freedom of choice are fundamental rights for Australians.

· No Digital ID. Universal Digital ID is a threat to freedom. A central database of every person’s digital information could open the door not only to hacking but also to increased government control and coercion.

· No CBDC (Central Bank Digital Currency). CBDC has the potential to control all our lives to a granular level. Any government (or any of its agencies) could use this technology to dictate what a person can and cannot purchase, could set an expiry date on your money, or could simply turn off our ability to buy or sell.

· Make accepting cash compulsory at all businesses.

SCHOOL SYSTEM

For too long our school system has pushed far-left, woke ideology.

· Get the woke agenda out of our schools.

· Stop trashing Australian history and the roles of our forefathers.

· Schools should focus on reading, writing and arithmetic, not ideology.

· Protect the rights of parents as the primary carers of their children.

INTERNATIONAL ORGANISATIONS

Globalism is the scourge of the free world.

· Exit the WHO, UN, WEF – we must retain our sovereignty and decide what happens within our own borders.

· Australia first. We cannot have unelected globalists bodies dictating how we run our nation and our lives

· Australia must stay out of international conflicts which do not affect or benefit our national interest.

BRING BACK AUSTRALIAN MANUFACTURING

We must process our minerals at home.

· We are the quarry to the world – we sell our iron ore for hundreds of dollars a tonne, it goes to China and comes back to us as steel for thousands of dollars more.

· Relax the legislative, regulatory and taxation burden on business, so that they can compete and stay in Australia rather than going offshore, such as the auto industry, we once made cars in Australia. Now, we no longer do so.

· Cheap, reliable power is essential for this to happen.

PAY DOWN OUR NATIONAL DEBT WITH A 15% LICENCE FEE ON IRON ORE

Labor and the Liberals have saddled us with a trillion dollars of debt and they have no solutions to get us out of it.

· To reduce debt, the Trumpet of Patriots will place 15% licence fee on all iron ore exports from Australia.

· Australia is the key player in the world in iron ore. China has become a manufacturing superpower on the back of Australian iron ore and its economy is one of the largest in the world.

· By placing a 15% licence fee on all iron ore exports from Australia we can eliminate the government’s debt and free all Australians from that generational burden.

COVID-19

You will get the Royal Commission promised by Labor then quashed as soon as they came to power.

· A proper inquiry into excess deaths.

· No more vaccine mandates.
