Suellen Wrightson brings strong leadership to Trumpet of Patriots
Trumpet of Patriots has appointed Suellen Wrightson as its leader of the lower house and endorsed candidate for Hunter, taking on Peter Dutton and Anthony Albanese to be Australia’s next PM at the upcoming Federal election.
A former elected member of Cessnock City Council, seasoned political campaigner at state and federal level, and respected chronic disease management coordinator, Ms Wrightson brings real world experience to the national stage.
“I am proud to lead the party at this election as we endeavour to bring real change to our system,” Ms Wrightson said.
“The simple reason the cost of living is so high is because Australians are being ripped off by the political system and the lobbyists that support them.”
Ms Wrightson has long spoken out against the duopoly of power between the Labor and Liberal parties, which she says has allowed political elites to prioritise their own interests over those of everyday Australians.
“We can bring down the cost of living by bringing down the cost of energy, and we can solve the housing crisis by building fast trains from our capitals to open up affordable land within a 20-minute commute to the CBD,” she said.
With a bold vision for Australia and a powerful message of reform, Ms Wrightson and Trumpet of Patriots are calling for a government that puts Australians first—not special interests.
