Albanese’s support for Ukraine against Trump is a disgrace: Palmer

Chairman of Trumpet of Patriots, Clive Palmer, said from Sydney today it was a disgrace that Prime Minister Anthony Albanese had pledged his support for Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelenskyy after his disrespectful exchange with President Donald Trump at the White House.

“Last year Mr Albanese attacked Mr Trump before he was elected President, and he has supported ambassador to the United States Kevin Rudd who has fiercely criticised Mr Trump in the past, calling him a traitor to the West and the most destructive president in history,” Mr Palmer said.

“This behaviour by our PM is extremely damaging to Australian/USA relations.

“Mr Albanese needs to recall Kevin Rudd immediately and apologise to President Trump, or he will be thrown out at the next election.”

Mr Palmer confirmed Trumpet of Patriots would adopt many of the policies of US President Donald Trump and drain the Swamp in Canberra by running candidates in the House of Representatives and the Senate at the next election.

“Australia needs Trump-like policies which only Trumpet of Patriots can deliver,” Mr Palmer said.
