Palmer Trumps High Court and Albo Government in trying to stop him running in Federal Election
Amid a global shift in political sentiment, marked by the resurgent success of Donald Trump in the US and the rise of Argentina’s Javier Milei, a new force has announced its presence in Australian politics.
Clive Palmer has been appointed Chairman and party spokesperson for registered political party, Trumpet of Patriots, to contest the 2025 Federal Election.
Mr Palmer announced today that Suellen Wrightson had been appointed leader of the lower house to challenge Peter Dutton and Anthony Albanese to become Prime Minister. She will be running to be elected in the NSW seat of Hunter.
Trumpet of Patriots will stand candidates in the House of Representatives and the Senate in the 2025 Federal Election vowing to bring change to the Australian political system.
“The Albanese government must go. For three successive years Australians’ living standards have declined and the cost of living has soared. We need common sense policies,” Ms Wrightson said.
“The world is changing. In the United States of America, government waste and corruption are finally being exposed. Donald Trump has shown the world what can be done its time for Australia to do it.
“In Australia, for too long our people have suffered from a duopoly of power with the Labor and Liberal parties having their deals designed to take our money for their own uses.
“I am proud to lead the party at this election and I invite all like-minded Australians to join our party as we endeavour to bring real change to our system.
“The simple reason the cost of living is so high is because Australians are being ripped off by the political system and the lobbyists that support them,” she said.
“We can bring down the cost of living by bringing down the cost of energy.
“We can solve the housing crisis by fast trains from our capitals to open affordable land for housing within a 20-minute commute to the CBD.
“We want to make sure Australia is for all Australians and that the Australian government does what is best for all Australians
“This is an opportunity for members of the Labor and Liberal parties to join a party that only has the interests of Australians at its heart.
“Trumpet of Patriots believe in many of the same policies as Donald Trump in the US. We need common sense solutions and we need to refocus on what really matters to people.
“Men should not be in women’s sports, men in women’s clothing should not be corrupting our children,” Ms Wrightson said.
“Over 3,000,000 households in this country are experiencing hardship in feeding their families. This is a disgrace. Trumpet of Patriots when elected will ensure Australians do not go to bed each night hungry.
“Our party is in this election to win. I want to invite the 82,000 members of the United Australia Party and all political parties to join our party to support me and our team.
“We will make Australia great. Trumpet of Patriots is a registered political party with the Australian Electoral Commission.
“We will be in the ballot and we will reform the political process in this country to protect and defend our democracy.
“In the coming days and weeks, Trumpet of Patriots will announce our policies and candidates which will change the face of our economy and bring back prosperity for all Australians,” Ms Wrightson said.
