Trumpet of Patriots names Shadow Attorney General

NEWCASTLE: Trumpet of Patriots leader, Suellen Wrightson, today announced that Harry Fong would join her shadow executive for the Federal Election as Shadow Attorney General.

A highly respected barrister with extensive experience in criminal law, civil litigation, dispute resolution, and commercial negotiations, Mr Fong was also recently appointed the party’s lead Senate candidate for Queensland.

“Mr Fong has practised at the Bar for more than 30 years; he is experienced as a criminal barrister and will make a valued member of my executive team,’’ Mrs Wrightson said.

With a career spanning litigation and international negotiations in mineral resources and advanced technologies, Mr Fong has successfully brokered deals involving multinational corporations and foreign governments, including China, the UK, and Taiwan.

His expertise in commercial and financial transactions makes him a strong advocate for economic responsibility and government accountability.

Ms Wrightson said she would announce the other members of her shadow ministry over the coming weeks.

“Trumpet of Patriots is standing at the 2025 Federal Election to be a real alternative to Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum or Dumb and Dumber who represent the Uni-party of Liberal and Labor,’’ she said.

“It doesn’t matter if you have a Liberal or Labor member in your local seat – throw them out for a real alternative.

“The existing status quo has lessened your wealth and standard of living. People in this country shouldn’t be going hungry every night.

“Nobody can deny that over the last three years, the standard of living has dropped for Australian families.

“Australia needs to do more than it is doing now to feed those who are facing the consequences of increased cost of living.

“There is a lot of waste in government spending which Trumpet of Patriots will eliminate.”

Mrs Wrightson has called for strong, common-sense approach to reinvigorate Australia, stating that Trump-like policies were needed to secure the nation’s future.

“Australia needs Trump-like policies which only Trumpet of Patriots can deliver,’’ she said
