Trumpet of Patriots: Saving taxpayers’ money a top priority

Chairman of Trumpet of Patriots, Clive Palmer, announced today that his party would follow an Elon Musk/Donald Trump policy of stamping out massive overspending and waste in the public sector.

“The waste is astounding. We have around 60,000 consultants employed to do public servants’ work and consultants fees are far greater than full-time public sector wages – in some cases, four to five times greater,” Mr Palmer said.

Mr Palmer said cutting waste would be a top priority for Trumpet of Patriots, with the portfolio going to party leader Suellen Wrightson.

“Ms Wrightson will be our Head of the Australian Department of Government Efficiency. We will make it our top priority to save taxpayers’ money,” Mr Palmer said.

Ms Wrightson said only Trumpet of Patriots could expose the full extent of government overspending.

“This cannot be done by Liberal or Labor because they will not want to show how much they have wasted,” Ms Wrightson said.

“They allow the public service to speak nonsense and they agree with them.

“It is time to give them the boot and use our taxpayer dollars to put Australians first,” Ms Wrightson said.
